Seli is the oldest ski resort in Greece and is located on the slopes of Mount Vermio. The centre opened in 1955 and is now one of the largest ski resorts in Greece. Seli has 18 ski runs over 16km, named after Greek gods and goddesses and three children’s runs. Six ski lifts service the resort. The Platitsas Ski School is one of the oldest in Greece and there are facilities for equipment rental. The best ski run in Seli is the Efleia Run, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
