Powder King mountain ski resort, Canada

This Mountain resort is located in the intact wilderness of the Pine Pass, 195km north of Prince George in Northern British Columbia. With an annual snowfall of 41 feet (1250 cm), this ski area is open to visitors of all ages and levels of skill.  The terrain varies from steep inclines for the expert skiers to gentle, slow slopes for the beginners and children.

Powder King is about 500 yards from the highway and may be reached by car from Vancouver or Edmonton. This resort is privately owned by Jim and Hiedi.

There are 24 trails or marked runs in the 1475 acres of skiable area which is rated Beginner – 33%, Intermediate – 37% and Advanced – 30%.  Annual snowfall here is usually around 1250 cm (41 ft) with a vertical of 640 meters (2100 ft). There are 2 surface lifts and one triple chair in this facility.

The operating hours are from Thursday to Friday (9:00AM – 3PM) and Sat – Sun 9:00AM – 3:30PM
