Known as the “Sunny Glade”, Poiana Brasov is a beautiful resort in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains at 1000 metres altitude. The resort is one of the most popular in Romania and has a capacity for 2000 skiers.

Poiana Brasov has 12 downhill and slalom runs over 9km, an Olympic ski track and two 80 metre ski jumps. With a gondola lift and a network of cable cars Poiana Brasov is very accessible and also has floodlit skiing and an artificial ski machine to maximise use of the slopes.
There are a wide range of restaurants and bars in the village. Activities in the resort include a skating rink, horse drawn sleigh rides, the medieval town of Brasov just 12km away and excursions to Dracula’s Castle.
