Three and four star hotels are popular among the resort area. Conveniently located and stocked with all of the conveniences of home, the hotels range from expensive to budget friendly. Ice chalets, holiday rentals, self-catered apartments and huts are also located throughout the resort area.
Lift facilities include 6 drag lifts, 3 chair lifts, 2 cable cars and 2 aerial tramways. There are a wide range of slopes available from beginner to advance. Easy slopes consist of 11 km of flat and wide terrain that is perfect for introductory ski lessons or honing your skills. A large snowboard park is located at the resort and offers a wide range of excellent amenities including a half-pipe, amusement park and snowboard cross.
Classic cross country skiing is popular at Pitztal and the resort offers 28 km of ski runs and skating courses as well as 8 km of high altitude cross country skiing. Winter hiking trails extend 20 km and provide a wonderful way to explore the natural wonderland. Guests may take a sleigh ride to their hotel or through the scenic trails.
