Pin Rouge tourist center situated on the southern coast of the Gaspé Peninsula in New Richmond in Quebec. New Richmond is surrounded on the west by the Grand Cascapedia River. International visitors can reach this ski mountain via the Quebec International Airport.
Pin Rouge is believed to be the highest mountain in Eastern Quebec with a vertical drop of 446 meters (1,462 ft). Many skiers such as the Junior World Champion, François Bourque, completed his first descents.
Beginners and families with children would love to enjoy the 3,500 meter family trail. There are 23 trails rated for varying levels of difficulty as Beginners – 4%, Intermediate – 47%, Advanced – 34% and Expert – 15%.
Additional activities here include skating rink, dog sledding, snowshoes, air tubes, walking trails, snowmobile trails, a belvedere with a panoramic view and a snowboarding park.
