Parc du Mont-Comi ski resort, Canada

Parc du Mont-Comi is located in Saint-Donat, the heart of the Laurentian Mountains and is the highest skiable mountain in the Bas-Saint-Laurent. This area has tremendous amounts of natural snow. It is the only village in Quebec which has two lakes side by side: Lake Archambault and Lake Ouareau. Originally, this ski resort was called Mont Camille.

The vertical drop here is 306 meters. There are 26 trails rated Beginners – 30%, Intermediate – 42%, Advanced – 12% and Expert – 16%. There is a run called “Le Mur” that is sloped at 35°.

There are 5 glade trails here and snowmaking is 10%. This facility has four lifts including 2 Double chairs and 2 Surface lifts.

Other activities here include Cross-Country skiing, Down hill skiing, Snowmobiling, Snowshoeing and Telemark skiing. In summer, this outdoor recreation center offers canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding and hiking and rides in the chairlifts.

The Telemark club arranges one of the biggest Telemark festivals here. It also coaches people in various styles such as moguls, off-trail, etc.
