Nvafria is located in Segovia, in the Spanish region of Castilla y Leon. Its original name is Navafria. In 2007, this place has officially become a ski resort. It is not such a populated tourist destination. It is not even popular, due to the lack of tradition. Nvafria is a young and modern ski resort. However, there are not too much skiing opportunities in the area. In the tourist guides it is described as being a small, yet modern cross-country skiing-destination. Large sums of money have been invested in the last few years in infrastructure, accommodation and other facilities, such as bars and restaurants. The entire area has a great potential of expansion, but there needs time and money to make the Spanish Government’s dreams come true.
