This family resort is known for its Alpine skiing and Cross country trails and can be reached via the Winnipeg international airport. Tucked into the gorgeous landscape of Thompson, near northern Manitoba, Mystery Mountain has 18 ski trails which are served by four lifts which have a total capacity of 2,400 skiers per hour. The type of lifts includes Rope tows, Poma lifts and T-bar.
The vertical here is 250 ft (76 meters) and annual snowfall is about 75 inches. Snowmaking is about 80% and there is no night skiing. However, skiable area is about 30 acres. The terrain is for Beginners – 17%, Intermediate – 50% and Advanced – 33%.
