Morin Heights is the name of a municipality in the heart of the Laurentian Mountains in Quebec that is well known for its mountainous terrain and Golf courses. There are 24 trails in Morin Heights Ski Area. The trails are rated Beginner – 30%, Intermediate – 33%, Advanced – 33% and Expert – 4%. The longest trail is 844 km (2769 ft).
Morin Heights Ski Area sits on 300 acres of sublime landscape and snow covered areas total about 90 acres of skiable terrain. The vertical drop here is 200 meters (656 ft) and the mountain has an elevation of 465 meters (1,523 ft).
There are 6 lifts including 1 Quad chair, 3 Triple chairs, 1 Double chair and 1 magic carpet to deliver an uphill capacity of 9,600 persons per hour.
Snowmaking is 100% and night skiing is offered on 16 of the 24 trails. Cross-country skiers will be happy to hear that Morin Heights Ski Area offers 150 km of inter-connected trails accessible thorough the Aerobic Corridor into the Laurnentian Mountains.
Winter activities here include Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Cross-Country skiing and snowshoeing trails. In summer, this park offers horseback riding, tennis, golf, hiking, bicycling and ice skating.
