Sutton is a town located in the southwestern part of Quebec. This mountain of a ski area is humongous with 54 runs, 196 junctions and an altitude of 968 meters overall. International visitors to this ski area may arrive here via Montreal or Quebec City. This ski area is easy to reach from the USA too since it is close to Vermont border and Boston city.

Mount Sutton has an altitude of 968 meters (3,175 ft). There are nine chair lifts including 3 Quads and 6 Doubles for an uphill capacity of 11,800 persons per hour. The vertical drop here is 1,500 ft.

The annual average snowfall is usually 208 inches and snowmaking covers 60% of the mountain. The park is open from 9 AM to 4 PM from Monday to Friday. On weekends, it is open from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Obviously, there is no night skiing here.

There are 54 runs or trails in this location and they are rated Beginner – 17 %, Intermediate – 45%, Advanced – 21% and Experts – 17%. The longest run is 9,398 ft (2,865 meters).

Visitors may Ski, snowboard, Cross-Country ski (Creego), Hiking or Snowshoeing in the vast 175 acres of breathtaking terrain.
