Mont Gabriel is located in Piedmont, Quebec, a small municipality in the les Pays-d’en-Haut Regional County Municipality in the beautiful Laurentian Mountains. This is a family oriented ski area which hosts the Canada Post Freestyle Grand Prix. This location is also the home of training facilities for acrobatic skiing in Canada.
Alomg with ski-in, ski-out facilities, Mont Gabriel has 18 trails including the fun park and Glades. The trails are rated Beginners – 11%, Intermediate – 33%, Advanced – 39% and Expert – 17%. The longest trail is 1100 km or 3609 ft. Night skiing is allowed on 9 of the 18 trails.
Mont Gabriel is built over 900 acres of panoramic hills and valleys with a skiable terrain if 80 acres. The elevation here is 433 meters (1,420 ft) and the vertical drop is 200 meters (656 ft).
There are 5 lifts including 2 Quad chairs, 1 Triple chair, 1 Double T-bars and 1 magic carpet for a total uphill lift capacity of 8,400 persons per hour.
