Situated at the confluence of the Chicoutimi River and the Saguenay River, the borough of Chicoutimi is located in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec. This ski area is closed Monday through Thursday. On Friday, it is open by appointment and on weekends, it is open 9 AM to 3:30PM.
Mont Édouard is located about 240 km northeast of Quebec city. Because of its location it is not as busy as some of the other family oriented ski areas. Here, you have the entire panorama of breathtaking wilderness all to yourself. A vertical drop of 450 meters and an altitude of 650 meters also helps along with an annual snowfall of 550 cm. There are 31 trails here. The longest trail is 3000 meters. The 31 trails here are rated Beginners – 22%, Intermediate – 25%, Advanced – 33% and Expert – 20%
Activities here include 80-90 party with DJ Sabin, Tales from the Full Moon, Festi-Telemark with ski clinics and friendly competitions, and Party Carlsberg with music at the top of the mountain.
