The Marble Mountain ski resort is on the west coast of New Foundland in the Long Range Mountains in Canada . The highest point of the mountain is known as Mount Musgrave in honour of Sir Anthony Musgrave, a former colonial governor. Marble Mountain is regarded as the site of the largest Alpine ski resort in Atlantic Canada and is known to have the best skiing east of the Rockies .

The resort has an average yearly snowfall of sixteen feet, which is complemented with some man mad snow, and it has a skiable area of a hundred and seventy five acres. Marble Mountain resort has a total of thirty seven trails or runs that are serviced by three quad chair lifts, a platter lift and a new magic carpet. Snowboarders as well as skiers have access to the terrain park and the snocross park.

Marble Villa is sheltered at the base of Marble Mountain and is the resort's ski in ski out accommodation and regarded as the best ski chalet in Newfoundland . Book a slope side condo suite with one or two bedrooms or a comfortably furnished studio suite.

All rooms have a telephone, complimentary wireless internet, remote control television and air conditioning. If you are new to skiing then leave your children at the children's center while you have lessons. You can get a season's pass and rent your skis when you get there.
