This beautiful skiing destination is located in Southern Vermont just minutes away from Manchester and a few hours from many major metropolitan centers making it a convenient yet magical location for a special get away.
The mountain is truly magical with 40 steep narrow twisting trails that offer tremendous glade skiing and is definitely one of Vermont’s last best kept secrets. Magic has a "ski it if you dare" policy that allows experienced skiers to take full advantage of some of the most difficult trails around and combine that with uncrowded slopes that have fresh tracks that last for days and you will be guaranteed an unparalleled skiing experience. The have the most updated snowmaking and grooming equipment
ensuring the skiing conditions are always at their optimum levels.
Magic Mountain is a very relaxed and family friendly ski area. I loved the narrow and winding trails. Some even had decent, steep slopes. The west side is for advanced skiers but due to lack of snow and snowmaking capabilities, the west side was closed. The east side has the easier trails as well as snowmaking abilities. I still had a good time but was disappointed by the lack of snow
. This would definitely be a great place for beginner skiers
