If you are looking for a smaller, affordable and a family friendly holiday destination try getting away to Lost Valley Ski area. This piece of ski heaven is owned and operated by a family from the last three generations.
Although not large it is fully equipped and it makes a perfect place for families and groups looking forward to relax and escape from their hectic schedule. Its 240 ft drop includes 15 trails of which 6 are for beginners
and novices, 4 for intermediates and five for advanced skiers. Big Buck and Bobcat are among the popular trails here.
It also has three lifts, affordable rental equipments, ski school and a cafeteria that services sumptuous food. The main attraction of Lost Valley is the ski by the hour ticket. This ticketing system offers you the advantage of skiing a little instead of skiing for the whole day.
Lost Valley has 15 trails but Alpine East and Bull Moose are the best and most exciting. There are electronic timers available to time your slalom races. That was an awesome thing not found at many ski areas!
Lost valley has trails that will suit every skier, regardless of level. They also have great ski instructors and are considered one of the best places to learn to ski in the area. I would recommend Lost Valley to any skier, regardless of ability. This is a fun, well maintained, and family friendly ski area. The night skiing was awesome, too!
