One of the older prestigious Laurentians, Grey rocks was a model to other ski centers in North America. A wonderful ski hill devoted to families, Grey Rocks was a historic landmark and an essential part of the history of Quebec.
With a base elevation of 253 meters and top elevation of 440 meters, Grey Rocks has a vertical rise of 187 meters to be precise.
The average snowfall here is 187 cm. There are 19 trails here rated Beginner – 30%, Intermediate – 29 % and Advanced – 38 %. There are five lifts that carry skiers uphill for a capacity of 5,300 persons per hour.
Visitors to this hill have 200 acres of endless mountain terrain at their disposal to have some family fun skiing through the light and fluffy snow. The variety of terrain and customer service of the lift operators all add to the joy and beauty of this ski hill.
Grey Rocks Ski Area is currently closed while it is in the process of new ownership.
