Gravenhurst Nordic ski resort, Canada

ski hotels

Near the town of Gravenhurst in the Muskoka region of Ontario, Canada, visitors will find breathtaking views on nature trails which are groomed for fantastic cross-country skiing. The center is about 6 km north of Gravenhurst on Highway 11. The 17 km of Gravenhurst Nordic KOA trails range from beginner to expert. They are well groomed and skiers are also supported by other facilities such as equipment rentals, waxing room and warm up hut.

Events that are planned in this region throughout the season include moonlight ski runs through the starry landscape.

The town is bordered by two lakes: Lake Muskoka and Gull Lake. Bracebridge has many trails on which the visitors bike or picnic during summer and enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter.

The lakes are also frozen by mid-January and this allows people to walk along the local snowmobile trails which criss-cross the local waterways.

There is no alpine skiing offered in this ski resort.
