Falcon Ridge Ski area, Manitoba, Canada

Founded in 1996, Falcon Ridge Ski area is a family run resort in the Whiteshell Provincial Park in Manitoba, Canada. Visitors flock to this ski resort every winter to enjoy the magnificent views of the Boreal Forest and the Precambrian shield.

In this park, visitors can enjoy hours of downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing or snowshoeing through the jack pines. This is a family focused ski park where the Biathlon Association program for children which culminated in many Olympic athletes.

Winter hours are from 10AM to 4:30PM on weekends. There are several lifts here including the T-bar lift, the Chickadee life, Smokey lift, Sunshine lift and Tubing lift for a lift capacity of 1.500 persons per hour. The top elevation of this park is 369 meters and the vertical rise is 46 meters. The terrain covers six acres of beautiful land with 13 trails for Beginner – 60%, Intermediate and advanced - 40%.

The annual snowfall is about 50 inches and the skiable area is over 25 acres and the longest run is 366 meters (1,200 ft).
