Echo Valley is not a ski area but a winter family fun park. Tobogganing, snow tubing and ice skating are the offerings at the park. There are no facilities for skiing or snowboarding.
This family oriented park is reasonably priced, making it an affordable outing for families on a tight budget. There are no age or height restrictions so a fun day can be had by all.
My family went to Echo Valley to go snow tubing. It was so much fun. They have snow making machines so there is always snow
on the ground. They groom the tubing area as well. There were a bunch of people using the ice rink. I think next we will try ice skating. This is a wonderful place for good, old fashioned, wholesome fun.
Really good family ski area. It's quiet, and never gets too crowded even on the weekends. Great for beginners, easy slopes and good trails! Good snow, and many sunny days in the winter too. If you need lessons, more experienced skiers and snowboarders are available on the weekends. It's not expensive either. Summer time the Chelan lake is very beautiful too, and you can even get on the zip line, that opened recently, and runs from the top where Uncle Tim's Cabins are down to the lake. Great place for skiing, snowboarding, or tubing, you can always have a lot of fun at Echo. I didn't know the guys who work there, were all volunteers. They were really sweet. It's actually privately owned, nonprofit resort. If you fancy snowmobiles, you can rent one too. Silvia Cassidy
