Crabbe Mountain ski resort is in New Brunswick in the province of British Columbia in Canada . At 853 feet Crabbe Mountain boasts New Brunswick 's highest vertical. The ski terrain is challenging for skiers of all abilities but the resort offers a large beginners area with a pony lift. The resort offers two terrain parks and a half pipe. The resort has an annual snowfall of a hundred and twenty inches and that is supplemented by fifty five percent snow making.
The total skiable area of the resort is 87 acres and as mentioned above a vertical drop in excess of 800 feet. The resort offers Alpine skiing, night skiing and snowboarding. The resort has 22 trails with 18% of them for learners, thirty five percent for intermediates and the remaining forty seven percent for advanced skiers.
There are three lifts, including one quad chair and the total uphill lift capacity is 4,400 an hour – so you shouldn't have to spend to long waiting for a lift. If you have young children with you then the resort offers a child minding facility while adults are enjoying the slopes. There are women's and children's programs on offer, it is possible to get lodgings not too far from the slopes but this is separate from the resort.
The resort is open from December through April, weather permitting and it's best to enquire about dates and operations before you set out. You need to buy your lift tickets at either daily or half daily rates, if you go often then it is worth investing in a seasonal ticket.
