Cavnic ski resort, Romania

Situated in the northern county Maramures in Romania, Cavnic is a popular ski resort situated at an altitude of 1280m (top station). With a reliable and heavy snowfall each year, Cavnic is fast becoming one of the most reputable ski resorts in Europe, with a total of 7km of slopes. These comprise of two blue runs (27km), four red runs (5km) and two black runs that can be easily accessed by the seven lifts at the resort.

The slopes are levelled according to European standards and begin from an altitude of 950m, ending at a high altitude of 1260m. The resort is suited to everyone, from beginner to advanced in numerous group sizes and lessons are offered as a bonus at an additional price. The base of the track features a quaint hotel rated at three stars, as well as two additional self-catering chalets, which are offered at a reasonable price for the duration of your stay.
