Located at the south-eastern part of the Madawaska Highlands is a picturesque land called Calabogie, The Mountain in Ottawa and surrounding areas with the highest vertical drop of 760 ft is Calabogie peaks. The longest run here is 2km. To get here, people can come by car from the rest of Canada or US or through the Ottawa airport.
There are 21 trails here, 5 for Beginners, 9 for Intermediate and 7 for Advanced. The base elevation of Calabogie peaks is 505 ft (154 meters) and the summit elevation is 1,265 ft (386 meters).
The annual snowfall is about 80 inches and snowmaking contributes 95%. There are 3 lifts – 1 carpet lift and 2 quad chairs with an uphill capacity of 6,300 skiers per hour.
Visitors to this ski club can enjoy fantastic views and thrilling slopes on the 80 acres of skiable terrain available in this park. Operating hours are from 9AM – 4PM daily.
