In the Jamtland region of Sweden is the ski resort of Bydalen, situated amongst some stunning surrounds and excellent wildlife. Comparatively, Bydalen is one of the larger resorts in Sweden with a number of pistes and cross-country skiing opportunities through woodland and mountainside, with many of them floodlit for night time skiing. With 420m of vertical descent and an altitude of 1010m, Bydalen has a large snowfall between the months of December and April, and also has 15% of the slopes covered by snowmaking possibilities.  Bydalen offers children’s slopes as well as ski instructors for both adults and children, which is important when attempting one of the sixty slopes the resort has to offer! Bydalen has five green runs, eighteen blue runs, twenty-eight red runs and nine black runs, catering for all abilities and ensuring everyone has a challenge during their stay, and the slopes are accessed by a number of lifts.
