One of the popular ski centres in the Jizera Moutains, Bedrichov is near Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou. From Prague International Airport, it is about 110 km to reach Bedrichov Mountain ski area. Accommodations are available in the form of boarding houses, apartments, guest houses and cottages in and around Bedrichov.
This picturesque ski area offers fantastic downhill and cross-country skiing
. There is a skiing stadium here with extensive ski tracks for competitions and regular Alpine skiing. The 2009 World Ski Championships were held here in Liberec.
There are trails totalling 593 km in length which are rated for beginners
as well as advanced skiers. There are many runs rated for skiers of all levels. The longest run here is 560 metres. (Please add trail ratings here if you know them)
The runs are groomed and prepared with real and artificial snow
. Night skiing is offered all week on two of the trails. The top elevation here is 810 metres and the base elevation here is 700 metres.
Bedrichov Mountain ski area has eight ski lifts with a total uphill and downhill capacity of 5520 persons per hour. One lift is completely dedicated to children. There are ski rental facilities and a ski school here for beginners.
Fantastic Cross-Country skiing trails cover almost 80 km of breathtaking slopes and exciting terrain. Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Night skiing is from 4:30PM to 9 PM.
